Emmy
Wild Woman holds degrees in Music,
Choreography and Modern Dance, and has
enjoyed extensive experience in
Afro Caribbean
dance. Throughout her performing,
teaching and
choreographing career Emmy has been able
to weave in the age old wisdom tradition
of using the art of dance as a source of
healing and liberating the spirit.
Always an avid learner and student of
life, Emmy
attends workshops and retreats in
Shamanic healing, dance meditation,
yoga, aerobic fitness, holistic health,
nutrition and spirituality.
In her personal
journey, Emmy Wild Woman dances to the calling of her spirit
for creative awakening, health and vitality, spiritual
ecstasy, and healing. She believes that dance is a
sacred healing path to unlock the intuitive creative
soul within. Many strong influences in
wisdom traditions and movement styles have been
integrated into her approach to facilitating.
Emmy has enjoyed
teaching Dance Meditation On the Wild Side workshops and classes in Buffalo area holistic
wellness centers, yoga studios, area colleges, and community outreach. She has developed a
gentle, humorous style of facilitation that honors the individual's life
mysteries, and unfolding of human spirit. Her own experience with
the dance of life as a path to healing, health and wholeness has fueled her
passion for teaching. "Facilitating experiences that allow people to tap into
their own power, creativity and healing is an awesome journey. Like the shamanic
dance of the wisdom traditions, this healing energy roots our sense of
connection with a universal joyful Divine"
Emmy
centers her work in Buffalo NY area, in the company of many brilliant and
beautiful yoga teachers and health workers. She lives in Hamburg NY with her beloved husband Jim, who has
been a tremendous support on her journey, and two precious sons, Caleb and
Christopher.
Emmy
Wild Woman is available to conduct retreats, conferences,
